Can someone identify this magazine?

I bought a whole boatload of unknown magazines from a store a while back, and this is the only one I haven't been able to identify. It has a couple of distinctive features; the stiffening ribs stick out instead of in, and the mag catch is a machined divot instead of the usual cut out slot. I looked all through Midway's catalog and didn't see anything like it, so I'm hoping one of you guys can tell me what it is. It's for a full size pistol.

USA brand glock mag maybe? Looks somewhat like one I bought before I knew better, forever ago.

Agree with Desolo. The convex ribs would serve the purpose of keeping Glock magazine dimensions without the heavy polymer coating.

And the catch is stamped, not machined.

It's a U.S.A. brand Glock 19 magazine. The baseplate is a dead giveaway. It's their Glock 17 magazine body with a baseplate that keeps you from smashing the feed lips when inserting into a 19. Crush it into a cube before you accidentally load it.

It is amusing to me that every used one of their Glock magazines I've seen still has sticker residue on it. Nobody keeps one long enough to bother removing it.

The one good use Ive heard of for the 32(33?) Rounder version was as an ammo carrier/speed loader for one of those .357-9mm convertible Blackhawks. Just thumb them into the empty chamber from the magazine.... too bad I never got one of those, it would have been neat. Oh! And it did have sticker residue on it aswell! They really all do have sticker residue!


Darn "mag" is prolly rusting into a fine red dust somewhere by now.

Alrighty then, you guys have been a big help. It never occurred to me that it could be a knock off of something. I do recall how bad USA mags were, so I'm just going to toss it instead of selling it to some dummy who's too cheap to buy the real thing.
