Some guys grin when they fight. Some guys yammer. Others wet themselves a bit. I've done all three in different situations. The ostrich syndrome is not helpful now, either, though I do not perceive the OP as even suggesting that it is. Just saying we peeps do stuff. It's all part of being human, I guess.

I see it like this. We're on the wall, readying .... Trolls and traitors are part of the deal.

I like the notion of focusing on the season, on family. But I admit I'd be less ... er, focused, if I could stop by my LGS and buy a dozen pmags right now. Or even just one at
any store, or from any mail order place. But that ain't possible. Seeing them go for $60 each on GB is ... different.

I agree with the dissenting view - NOW is the time to act, and NOW is the time to be vocal.

The panic buying is GOOD, because it gets more AR and AK pattern rifles on the street and in private hands. That is ALWAYS a good thing for our position.

Even if 80% of the rifles and mags being purchased are by those who already own guns, the simple fact is that NEW people are buying Military pattern rifles, and NEW people are joining the NRA in droves.
