I'd sooner donate to Dianne Feinsteins re-election than buy from Brunos.

KansasSasquatch,

My buddy was at a GS this past weekend, just browsing. On a table he'd stopped at, was a brick of .22 LR for sale, he didn't want them. However, a guy came by and asked the seller how much? $200.00 ! The fool pulled his wallet and bought them! Thats utter stupidity! No wonder these gouger's feel like they do. :what:

Yes those prices are high but im with you joe its worth it to get to do some shooting.

How is that gouging. You have a seller and a willing buyer at that price. What's the problem?

I am not going to pay inflated prices. I will wait until the panic ends. Luckily I have been able to buy some components at regular prices. I don't NEED any of this stuff. If I have to, I will buy an airsoft gun to get my shooting fix.

I sure as heck know when the panic is over though, I am going to increase my baseline stock on hand.

I might actually buy one of those 6000 piece boxes of Hornady 55gr. FMJBT bullets.
I might actually start buying W231 and H335 powder in 8 pound jugs instead of 1 pound jugs.

I sure am glad I bought a bunch of Berry's bullets back in November though....I usually buy them by the thousand due to the price discount instead of just stocking up though.

My LGS has them for $37/1,000 and that's how much they've for a year or two. Another store has most primers for about $30/1,000 but they don't have SPP or SRP in stock right now.

I'm still loading primers I bought for $15 for 1K. I was bit hard by the shortage in '94 I think it was. So I kept buying by the case 5k at a time.

2 of the local gun shops had CCI in stock. Primers at the local gun show were $60-$75 per thousand. 22LR bricks of 500 were over $100 and .223 went for $1 per round.

I got my primers from the LGS at the usual $34 per thousand. I only got 3k though so others could get some too.
