Can you identify this long gun?

I don't know what the gun is, but in my opinion, that small box mag. is way too far forward, I mean if the bolt was long enough to pick up a round from there, it could no way move back far enough to eject the spent case.

I enlarged the pic to get a better view, it seems as though there is either a mag well or ejection port on the bottom just in front of the trigger guard, now I am curious as well.

And yet it has something sticking out in front of the foreend that looks an awful lot like a tube magazine extension.

Some kind of combo gun, rifle alongside shot?

A shotgun, made to look like a rifle from outside shotgun range??
(Keeps the AK-47 spray & prayers out of your face.)

But my best guess?
It's extra on-board shotgun shell storage for whatever ga tube mag shotgun it is?

(You whip it out with the little switch on the side, and dump the extra ammo out of it to reload the tube.)

Interesting theory, rcmodel. I can see what you're saying.

There was a Russian scattergun, I think MP131K, that was a hybrid tube and magazine fed shotgun. Maybe this little gizmo is the same thing. Albeit in a smaller gauge.

Looks like a dress up kit to me. Remember the kits for Ruger 10/22's that looked like a full sized military rifle with a large magazine?

I suspect it's the same sort of thing. Cosmetically makes your shotgun resemble an AR, for those that want that look.

My 13 yr old son who is a video game master with all the online shooting games recognized it right away as a hybrid rifle/shotgun buy didn't know the actual name or model of the gun...my guess is that someone possible copied a weapon from something they seen online.....

If I had to guess?

The operation of the bolt somehow strips a shell out of the box mag and stuffs it into the tube Mag for feeding the next shot straight back into the shell carrier???

That's all I got!!

That certainly looks like the same gun. But what's with the tube extension?

That article claims it's a conversion used on shotguns with exsisting tube mags. I'm guessing this gun started life as a extended tube and was converted to magazine fed.

Derya Anakon (AK-100) semi auto shotgun.

http://en.deryaarms.net/anakon-ak-100-otomatik.html

There is a video demonstration in the link provided. Never seen anyone dual wield semi-auto shotguns before. Gotta see it.

ETA: they have multiple models, the AK-101 being a 6+1 with a mag tube extension. I guess I don't understand the thing that looks like a box mag. Never actually see a reload in the video, so I'm not aware of it's purpose. This appears to be factory made, not a conversion. Some of the models are downright absurd, like the one that looks like a long range rifle, and the pistol version. And the camo... I know just the thing to take when we go to war on Mars.

ETA2: Seems with a bit of reading, it feeds from either the mag, or the tube. They have an AR clone shotgun that operates the same way.

Really odd, but if it works, odd sells.

Color me shocked. That magazine looked to small for shells.

I agree. If you look at the gun underneath that one, which is a BR99 12 gauge, it has a wider mag. The BR99 can take 3" magnums though, maybe the Anakon is something smaller. The barrel looks smaller diameter than 12g, maybe it is 16g...

Wow that video was like FPS Turkey ;)

Seriously, if you want a semi auto shotgun you can point at the sky with one hand and empty the mag, this is the piece for you. Also operates well when braced on the thigh or crotch. He man indeed. Note that recoil that takes the poorly gripped pistol grip right out of the operator's hand.

First off the video is worth a watch, it's hilarious.

My guess is the mag isn't functional. I'm assuming shotguns aren't heavily restricted and people want something that looks like an assult rifle.

No, shotguns are not heavily regulated at all in Turkey. They've had a booming industry for shotguns for decades. Rifles, pistols, full auto... heavily restricted. I did know a guy there who had a pistol, but he was the son of a high ranking military officer and I'm not even sure it was legal for him to have.

I regret not buying at least a couple shotguns when I was stationed there.

I'm betting it's based on the same principle as the sidewinder kits. Instead of a spring in the tube mag, it's a rod that's attached to the slide (in this case, whatever recoil system). When the gun cycles, that rod strips a round off the top of the box mag and onto the lifter.
