So I was at a local LGS last night picking up an AR I ordered on line, and they had this really sharp looking and great feeling canik55 c100 made in Turkey. It's a CZ compact/pcr/p01 clone, but is alloy and has manual safety, a combo CZ doesn't offer. They were asking $350. Now I wanted to buy it, but new the swhtf if I came home with both an AR and this
I've bought 9 guns in the last 2 years. Wifely thinks might be excessive or obsessive, but I think not. Anyways, anybody have one of these canik's or handled one. I thought they looked pretty high quality.

My wife would be tickled if I bought 9 guns in two years. I have bought 9 in the last 10 months.

Anyhow, those Caniks are sharp looking pistols. What's the name of the gun store you seen it at? The LGS around here don't have them. When asked about them the clerk seems to have no knowledge of them.

The US distributor was unable to come to an agreement on importing more of the Caniks. He sold what he had left on Gunbroker. I have the silver version and love it. It will replace my CZ PCR in rotation since all of my other CZ's are safety and the PCR is a decocker. At this time it looks slim for getting a US distributor. Too bad since they are nice and especially for the price. DO a search for Canik at http://www.czfirearms.us/ for more info and a lot of reviews.

Was looking forward to their version of 75B in alloy frame
