Can't believe what I'm seeing

I'd go without before I paid GB prices right now. It just depends on who you are, a new gun owner with one single handgun may be happy to pay $1 per round of 9mm. And hoard it, never shoot and still have 90% of it in 20 years. Shooters don't buy like that, just can't . price gouging sucks but it happens every so often , it's easy to get on the other side of it by buying when times are good. I wasn't reloading when the Obama shortage was on and when things went back to normal I bought everything I could afford at normal prices.

Those with the foresight to reload and have been through all of this multiple times are having no problems.

I haven’t bought factory loaded ammunition in many years and have more components and loaded ammunition than I could ever possibly shoot during my lifetime. I’m leaving it to the kids and will enjoy as much of it as possible before I go.

A local brick and mortar merchant told me earlier this month, "..it ain't what you paid for something that's important, it's the value of that something today that matters..." and then I proceeded to sell him several thousand rounds of multiple calibers after he made an offer with an unheard price of only a year ago. With those monies I've purchased two more presses and a new factory built reloading bench that would not have been bought otherwise.

I've spent enough time at Caesar's Palace to understand that money (and value) is truly relative.

.70 cents for 9mm or .25 cents for a single primer is more than I personally would want to spend, but the volume of bidding shows that
quite a few buyers have no problem with it.
It is only money after all.

I've simply bought cheap and stacked deep. I'm good to where I don't even need to reload at the moment.
