Can't find any CCI Large Pistol Primers #300 for 45 Colt

I stand corrected.

My chart at link has the WLP listed as Large Pistol (LP). Being as i have always used the WLP with W296 & H110, thinking its more a magnum then standard primer.

If the recipe in the reloading manual calls for a magnum primer I use one. I got tired of 296 and the identical H110 years ago. Too much blast and flames from my Model 19 when I used that stuff to reload 110 grain JHP's. Same story with 2400 - I am more interested in accuracy than I used to be. When I was in my 20's I read a lot of Elmer Keith books and used lots of 2400 in Magnum loads for 44 Mag and 357 Mag.
