I have a CZ 75 b in 40 s&w that I took shooting today and ran into an interesting problem.

I was loading up some 165grain Golden Sabre, and I could only load 8 rounds. I only had this problem with Rem. Golden Sabre. 165 grain Win Clean, 180 grain SXT, and 165 grain American Eagle all loaded up just fine, fit 10 in no problem. I tried VERY hard to get more rounds in, but it just did not work. I also tried in different magazines, still no go. Does anyone have any ideas as to why it would be so difficult to get 10 rds of golden sabre into my magazines?

Golden Sabers will get hung up in my CZ 75 PCR magazines. Of course my CZ is a 9 mm but the hollow point of the GS gets caught in the magazine catch opening. I took a picture of one of my magazines showing this, but I don't know if it's what you're experiencing.

Have you tried one of the magazine loader
tools out there? You can get MUCH more
leverage to push the cartridges down in the
magazine. Saves a lot of wear and tear on
your fingers.

Ok...the thing with the Sabers not loading is very strange. The only thing I can think of is the nose of the bullet was getting caught up somewhere...try this. After each round is loaded, slap the back of the mag against your hand...not really hard..it hursts.
Just enough to "seat the rounds" in the mag...if this doesnt help..I would HIGHLY suspect you had some rounds that are to long in OAL/Overall length. This shouldnt happen especially with a 165 gr round...
NJ3...Ive got a quick and painless fix for your prob....dissasemble the mag..take some fine emery cloth/scotch brite and polish the under/inside portion of your feed lips....once in a great while a CZ mag will have a little rough spot on the lips...all mags do this occasionally..smooth it up just to the touch...you can hit the top of the follower a tap if you want also. Clean the tube/follower with CLP and wipe it out when done....try it. Should work like a charm.
Shoot well

Tried all suggestions, still doesn't work. I really don't understand it :banghead: but there is a simple solution that i believe i will pursue.... using the Winchester SXT instead :D
