People seemed relatively game for that "riddle me this" thread so, in my boredom and insomnia, I came up with a guessing game of my own.

I have condensed my wishlist to a mere 11 guns. I'll give you their calibers and one or more qualifiers.

*Hints*
1. I already own 2 of them
2. One gun is on there twice in different configurations
3. One gun is a significantly newer design than the rest.

My Short List:

1) .45 Long Colt Revolver
2) .45 ACP Automatic Pistol
3-5) Three 9x19mm Automatic Pistols
6) 9x18mm Automatic Pistol
7) .30-06 Bolt-Action Rifle
8) 5.56mm/.223 Automatic Rifle
9) 7.62mm/.308 Automatic Rifle
10) .357 Double-Action Revolver
11) 12Ga Shotgun

Feel free to post your own short list guessing game.
And, of course, have fun.

I would like for someone to give to me the world's most expensive gun, whether it be new, antique, whatever, just as long as I can turn around and sell it (legally, of course)!

More than a gun, I could use the money.

Short list... Hmm... Well my most likely purchases will go as follows;
-Sig P220 (.45 ACP)
-AR (5.56/7.62x39/51)
-Sig P226 (9mm)
-Marlin 1895 (.45-70)
-Glock 20 (10mm)
-Springfield XDm (.45 ACP)
-S&W Model 629 (44 Magnum)
-Converted Saiga AK

That's about the order they'll come.

A 1911 type pistol, even though they are a little uncomfortable in my hand, an XDM in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45ACP, an AK in 5.45x39, possibly one in 7.62, and an M-91/30 for starters... lol

LOL Right on JHenry!

Well, not as good as hoped, still looking for the materials to start. Kinda hard when you're running on an absolutely no money budget. But income tax season is creeping up sooner than it seemed, so there'd be my best bet on obtaining materials to start.

Original Colt 1911 45ACP
Marlin 39A
Ruger Security Six
Ruger Single Six fixed sights
Russian/Chinese SKS
Mauser 98k 8mm

I think people may have missed the point here...

I was hoping that you all could guess the guns on my short list and post a similar challenge of your own. A mere "these are the guns I want" thread is pretty boring.

Allright...I'll try.

1. Colt SAA, engraved, BBQ gun
2. Colt 1911
3. SR9c
4. 9mm 1911 (2nd configuration of 1911). I'm thinking Springer EMP
5. S&W M&P
6. CZ82
7. Browning A-Bolt Medallion
8. SIG 556
9. Springfield M1A
10. S&W 60 Pro
11. Ruger Red Label

No kidding. Once I started reading the replies here, I thought maybe I had gone crazy and/or totally misunderstood the point of the game.

I assume the 9x18 automatic pistol is the significantly newer design, since I've never heard of it. And I think #8 and #9 are the same gun in different configurations - an AR of some sort.

The 45ACP is a 1911.

The bolt-action .30-06 is a Remington 700. The 12 gauge is a Remington 870. And those are the two you own.

Those are my best guesses for now. If I'm wrong about the two you own currently, I'd swap the rifle back to the wishlist and add one of the 9mm pistols to the two guns you own.

Those in BOLD are correct

1. Colt SAA, engraved, BBQ gun
2. Colt 1911
3. SR9c
4. 9mm 1911 (2nd configuration of 1911). I'm thinking Springer EMP
5. S&W M&P
6. CZ82
7. Browning A-Bolt Medallion
8. SIG 556
9. Springfield M1A
10. S&W 60 Pro
11. Ruger Red Label

New hint:
There are no Rugers or S&Ws

#3 CZ75 SA

Close, but not quite.

#8 Colt-manufactured AR

It is an AR, but the manufacturer isn't that important.

So so far we have:
1) SAA
2) 1911
3) unidentified Cz-75 variant
4 and 5) 9mm auto pistols
6) Cz-82
7) .30-06 bolt-action that is not a Rem 700, a Browning A-bolt, or a Dakota Arms
8) an AR, but config/variant has yet to be determined
9) 7.62/.308 battle rifle
10) .357 revolver
11) 12Ga shotgun

It seems this game is over. I might as well just reveal the list.

1. SAA
2. 1911
3. Cz-75B
4. Cz-75 "Short Rail"
5. Beretta M9
6. Cz-82
7. M1903 Springfield (early model)
8. AR-15 in basic config (A1 or A2 doesn't matter)
9. FN SCAR 17
10. Dan Wesson 15-2
11. Ithaca 37

Fortunately, all but one of these are pretty easy to find.
Unfortunately, the one that's hard to find is highly coveted and, therefore, ****ing expensive.
