Carry on a motorcycle

Strong side IWB just like any other time I carry concealed. Follow K.I.S.S. if you need it you don't want to go looking for it first.

A major consideration if you carry a handgun on a motorcycle is WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GO DOWN? Will you land on it? A two pound chunk of steel in the small of your back will ensure that you won't be riding anything but a wheelchair.

Do you consider carry location/method when walking stairs or climbing ladders? I ride 600 miles a week and what happens to my gun if I crash or will it cause further injury is the least of my worries. I read somewhere that in an automobile accident it is not uncommon to experience moments of extreme G-Forces in excess of 20 G's. That force could cause the weight of the trigger assy to pull itself on some of my guns, but I still carry with a round in the chamber. You can weigh the risk any way you like, But if someone normally carries small of back, in my mind K.I.S.S. outweighs risk of spinal injury in a crash.

Well, I am a sportbike rider, and wear 1piece so no IWB

Tank bag or fanny pack, depending on circumstances, sometimes both.

I think, If I decided to ride a standard with a leather jacket, I would either go shoulder holster or bag.

I have gone down before. Had the gun beed against my ribs or in the SOB, it could more easily break bones upon impact. Of course, riding your handgun might prevent RR if you don't have leathers on. Being in the bag actually kept the gun from any harm too.
