Panther Fans -

My wife has gotten some tickets to the Steelers/Panthers game on 17 December in Charlotte. We are driving to the game via a family wedding in Pennsylvania. Senore Beretta is on the guest list.

What I am interested in any feed back on the game site at Bank of America Stadium.

So far, I know the following:

  1. My Florida CCW works.
  2. It looks like I can not take any weapons into the stadium
  3. WHERE CAN I PARK AND WHERE SHOULD I NOT PARK - COMING OFF I-77 SOUTH - THAT IS SAFE AND EASY TO REACH AND THEN TO EXIT THE STADIUM AREA TO CONTINUE SOUTH QUICKLY AFTER THE GAME BACK TO FLORIDA.
  4. How long before game time should I be in the parking lot?
  5. Any other information that I should know about attending a game there.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or help.

The closer you park to the stadium, the safer, but also the price goes up higher. The game I went to, I parked about a mile away and paid $5 or $10 to park. If your at a day game, I wouldn't worry too much. Even a night game shouldn't be a problem unless your the type that likes to be the last out of the stadium to avoid crowds. No matter where you park, you are going to be surrounded by at least twenty people going to your car. All will be football fans doing the same thing you are doing. Just don't linger around, and for Gods sake, get a road map of the area so you don't take any wrong turns and wind up on the wrong side of town. That's where you will need your friends help. Not getting to and from the car.

Just be prepared for a long drIve home.
The Steelers WILL find a way to win by then!

GO STEELERS!!!
