Case Deburring Tools

I took an old RCBS hand held tool that looked like a screw driver with the threaded end and cut the handle off. Used the rod in an old battery drill and use the screw in attachments. Also I have the LE Wilson pictured above but not the adapter. I can see the value of the Little Crow tool in that you only have to pick up the brass one time to completly process it. Also not as expensive as the electric case prep centers.

Well this looks like the topic for me to make my recommendation on the newly acquired Hornady Case Prep Center....
I love it. I bought it primarily because I had 70#+/- of 5.56 military once fired come in and knew it was going to take a lot longer to process that volume making the cam lock trimmer obsolete.
It takes a minute to setup and get running smoothly but once you get everything dialed in it just works. I got through a good chunk of at least 1200 cases done in 11-12 hours including sizing/depriming with RCBS standard sizing die. I did tumble and sort through all the brass prior to this. It was slick. It makes processing brass a breeze. Mind you I finally made the jump due to increased volume but the volume increased as I have a lot more time with the kids being older and I am also finding a lot more time to shoot.
My plan is to run them through the LNL AP after creating a ladder on the Rockchucker and testing to confirm load.
Station 1: RCBS Lube Die (to ensure lube is still on the cases from sitting stored)
Station 2: RCBS Small Base Size Die (to guarantee ability to run in my AR)
Station 3: Powder Drop
Station 4: Powder Cop
Station 5: RCBS Seating Die

I have and use a Lee and an old RCBS
both. No problems with either one,
but I apparently don't remove the amount
of metal that many are, just knocking
off the wire edge

I started reloading around 1980. I have and still use the same RCBS chamfer/deburring tool for cleaning up case mouth after trimming.
I feel better quality tools last longer.
I have used some fo the Lee trimmer system and they seem to have acceptable cutter life if one does not overdrive the system and try to trim faster than the cutter can do its business.
For trimming cases, I've settled on the WFT trimmers or a Wilson/Sinclair trimmer at present. The old RCBS chamfer/deburring tool sitll does the finishing work on case trimming.

I rolled my own along with my case annealer. 12vdc gear motors come in different speeds and a lot of the stuff I had in my electrical box. Other stuff I got from the scrap pile at the dump. Hindsight 3 stations would have sufficed.
