I posted this question over on the Sig forum but got no takers.
I fired 2 boxes of Ultramax 200 gr SWC's through my 220 last weekend. First cast bullets I've sent downrange out of it. Leading was fairly significant in the throat of the barrel. More than I would expect for just 100 rounds.
Is this considered "normal" for a Sig with their hammer forged barrels?
It wasn't that bad to get out once I went to the copper Chore Boy scrubber wrapped around an old bronze brush.
I can live with this but am wondering if maybe the bullets were a tad too hard?
Thanks!
Tim
