I just purchased a CZ Ringneck 28 ga. I shoot a long gun left handed, but am right handed. I am also left eye dominant. Is there a way to add cast on without stock bending? I'm not sure if I want to invest the $200+ for a gun fitting then $250+ for stock bending on a <1,000 dollar shotgun. I will keep this option open if needed since the stock fitting should carry over to subsequent shotguns in my future. I've heard of shaving some of the stock down where your cheek rests but am not sure if this is effective. Any advice?

I would suggest not doing anything and shooting the heck out of that sxs on the trap range. Then and only when and if you are scoring 24s and need to shoot perfects, then look into stock changes. I am a lefty and have shot that gun. It is a dead center stock with a more european fit, straighter then an american stock or less angle. I shoot that gun very well and have not picked one up because or a perceived on my part only lack of quality in Turkish guns. I am wrong and I admit it now... now I want one.

Shoot, buy more ammo .. shot more. dont try to bend your stock.

I have to agree with Axeman. it's a straight stock, as long as the palm swell doesn't drive you crazy, just go with it.

My wife is the same as you, right handed, left eye dominant, she shoots lefty. (and whups me)

I'm left-handed. I bought a Browning 425 a couple years ago and shot it until I knew it needed some left-handed cast. At the urging of a shooting buddy, I used a Surform rasp to shave the stock to where it needed to be. The first stroke was the hardest, but it got easier, especially each time I shot it at a pattern board and saw the point of impact moving. I think I have it where I want it now, but I haven't refinished the stock yet, just lightly sanded it so it's not so rough. Go ahead and try it, like my friend said "who are you saving that stock for?".
