I have read several articles online referring to cast bullets used for handgun hunting being cast with "Casull Alloy". Does anybody know what the makeup of the alloy is percentage wise (lead/tin/antimony), and what makes this lead alloy superior to other alloys (wheelweights, Lyman #2, etc) for casting handgun hunting bullets?

Many thanks for your replies,

Been casting for several years. I even cast for the .454 Casull. Never heard of Casull alloy.
I cast everything with wheelweights, or a 50/50 WW/lead alloy. I use gas checks for everything. .44mag .45 Colt .454 Casull. 45/70, and .458 Win Mag. Some of them are over 2000 fps, and I get no appreciable leading.
When he gets his operation up and running again, I am going to have Dan, over at Mountain Molds make me a 200 grain mold for my .350 Rem mag. I may have to go to a harder alloy, as this will be over 2500 fps, approaching 3000 fps.
For the best deal on gas checks, check on Gator checks. His address is:Bullet Swaging Supply (home of Larry Blackmon's Gator Checks)

The Casull Alloy was developed by Penn Bullets To produce non gas- checked bullets for use in the .454 Casull and is made so as to not fracture under extreme pressues as generated by the .454 Casull. Contact www.pennbullets.com for more info.
