I'm specifically asking about their "Stainless Steel Blackener 370", and I'm considering their SSBGK deal for $20. I'm hoping this would be an economical DIY way to blacken a bead blasted 16.5-inch, .920-ich .22 cal barrel. I'm okay with just how "black" the end color is as this rifle already has many shades of black. I'm more curious about how durable the finish is. Is it tolerant of barrel heat, etc?
