Burglar Held At Gunne Pointe
Gunne Pointe, USA
by Media Toole
In an unexpected turn of events today, the notorious suspected serial
burglar Maurice Thomas Katz aka The Katz Burglar was captured by an
intended victim.
The homeowners, Mr. & Mrs. J.Q. Public, had returned home early from
target practice due to unplanned ammo usage. According to Mr. Public:
"Yeah, we were just about finished cleaning up when I heard glass
breaking upstairs. I went up to check it out thinking maybe the kids
next door were having batting practice again. I entered the back room
just as that joker came through the storm window. Lucky for me I was
still holding the Beretta I had been cleaning. This fellow was smart
enough to realize I had the drop on him, so he just put his hands up
and sat down. I yelled for Jane to bring the phone and her camera."
When asked about his feelings on this display of vigilantism police
Chief Clarence said, "I don't see it that way at all. This was more
of an 'on-the-spot-correction' type of thing. We've been after Mr. Katz
for longer than I care to mention, so Mr. Public's quick thinking today
should help us close several cases. We need more like him."
In an unrelated story...
