I did a quick search using "cavalry arms rear sight" to no avail, so I bring my query here:

Does anyone have any experience with Calvalry Arms' A1-style rear-sight that attaches to flat-top AR uppers?

http://www.cavalryarms.com/SARS.html

Does it stay put? Does it stay zeroed? Is it a quality piece? I'm doing my first AR build, and this rear sight is a dang sight less expensive (at 65 dollars) than the 120 Superior Arms is demanding for their A1-style carry handle.

Another semirelated question, on a flattop upper, where would I put it to give the "proper" sight radius for an AR?

Thanks in advance,

For $90 you can get a new Larue BUIS which is a much better sight than the CAV arms. Better design, fit, function, finish, and attachment. They go for about $75 used at ar15.com.
