CC wearing problems

I had a comfort problem and tried many different rigs then one day while shooting one of my automatics it jammed The next day I went and bought a S&W 360 PD and a galco slip on holster, problem solved the 360 weighs 11.4 oz and shoots 357 mag. Only have 5 rds but I know its not going to jam and I can wear shorts and tank top.

An enthusiastic second for the Perry suspenders! I've got the same problem: no butt, no hips; in fact, I'm shaped like an apple! :D A pair of suspenders did the trick.

The truth is that carrying a handgun is not comfortable unless you carrying something tiny like a Ruger LCP. Even OWB is going to jab into your side when you sit down. When people say "it was so comfortable I almost forgot I was wearing it" take it with a grain of salt.

Actually wearing my pants around the hips instead of the navel as so many here seem to suggest helps me personally a lot, since the pants can't physically sag over my hips. All I have to do is wear a long overshirt (as is quite fashionable, especially one you get at a METAL CONCERT! WOOO!) and I can carry pretty much anything OWB.
I find that loose clothing really helps, but to me the most critical piece is always the overshirt. My favorite band makes quite a profit off of my carrying habit, as they sell black Carhart(sp?) shirts.
So my best piece of advice ... overshirt, overshirt, overshirt.

If being armed is REALLY the important issue, and that should be the ONLY issue as to fashion.

Then dress to conceal what you might want in a SHTF moment.

I tried to do otherwise and got a REALLY good scare twice.

I took the advice of one MUCH wiser than I.

He was/is a gun writer and he stated that you carry all the gun you might need in a SHTF scenerio.

Then you get dressed to conceal that gear.

Clint Smith was writing after I got the advice, but he has the correct way to say it.

Dressing to be comforted makes more sense to me that dressing for "style".

Motor muscle skills.. lol .. OR

Am I the only one who has problems carrying? I have tried IWB, OWB (works the best) and many different holsters. I got the $100 super special carry belt, even tried a different brand. Doesn't matter. When I carry, my pants want to fall down. If I tighten up the belt tight enough to hold it in place, the belt is way too tight and VERY uncomfortable. I have tried suspenders, but they are not designed to hold the weight of a gun.
I am one of those guys that has no butt or hips.
Am I The only one? I am pretty much thinking shoulder holsters at this point. Any suggestions?

...

I'd be looking into some suspenders if shoulder carry is not an option.. ;)

Hey, they're becoming the_fashion, just wait and see..

Same with the many smaller 9mm's, 45's.. and some 40's out there that are test/owned/operated - proven reliable and weigh far less than what you're carrying, or trying to carry.

What type/make gun are you engaged with at this time..?

Luck,

Ls
