From packing.org:

THIS JUST IN - Effective October 1, 2006, Florida State Parks and National Forests in Florida are no longer off limits to concealed carry by permit holders. Effective July 1, 2006, permit holders will be able to carry concealed in Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs).

How about State Forests and National Parks???

This is fairly old news. Carry in National PARKS is the one that everyone wants. In my state, carry in National Forests and I believe State Parks are not a problem.

You have a more authoratative source than packing.org?
I feel the same way about them. They claim that my CCW permit is accepted in PA; it is not. I contacted the PA Attorney General and they said "NO" even though TN's permit requirements are more rigorous than PA's. For info, your state Attorney General's office must iniciate the receprocity agreement with another state. Sorry for the change of topic.

National/State Forest - State Park Carry Info

If you want to know if carry in a National/State Forest or State Parks is legal in any state go to Handgunlaw.us and click on either "US Off-Limits A-M" or "US Off-Liimits N-W" and scroll down to the state you wish to find out the info about. That information is listed for each state if known. Hope this helps.
"For everyones information you can find up to date Reciprocity and almost all other CCW Info for every state at Handgunlaw.us."

This is of course for Florida

H 1029 - Right to Carry Guns in National Forests and State Parks - was sent to Governor Bush's office on June 5 and signed.

It will go into affect in October.

On a similar note, permit holders will soon be able to carry concealed in Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs), effective July 1 due to an administrative rule change by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC).
