buzz_knox ,

I don't know who you spoke to, but I just ordered one yesterday from my rep Seth White. The part number published by CDNN in the email flyer also matches the part of another of another online gun retailer. CDNN published this in the email flyer:

"FN3748929140 FN Hi-Power 9mm Belgian S/A Pistol Matte Finish
1-10rd and 1-15rd Mag $439.99"

The other online retailer publishes this:

"000001763301
sku#: 000001763301
FN 3748929140 HP-SA 9MM 10RD
Retail: $843.58
Our Price: $649.36ea."

You should see that the manufacturer part numbers are the same....FN3748929140.

I ordered two hi-powers from this company and got them yesterday. They are the Capitan model with rear tangent 50m-500m sight. Made in Belguim and Assembled in Portugal. Brand new with deep polished blue. Listed at $550 and cost me $667.50 apiece in the end. Might buy two more, they are that nice. Taking them out tommorrow to see how they shoot.

corruptone,

Which other retailer was that? I'm trying to find info on that part number to make sure it's what I want, but FN no longer lists the HP, and I can't find any other retailers that use the factory part #.

I just received my FN Hipower that I ordered from CDNN and it is NOT the old rollmark, but the new Rollmark. Everything is as advertised. When I get some free time I'll post some pictures of the complete package. It really is VERY nice.

I ordered mine on Friday and should probably get it tomorrow, is it a Mark III, S/A standard just like we thought? The guy that helped my said it was, but he also didn't seem to know what SFS was, he thought it was an after market drop-in, that left me a little worried.

BTW, anybody want to buy an FEG PJK-9HP so that I can afford this?

update

I just ordered on of CDNN marketed FN HiPower P35 S/A in Matte Finish with a 10rd and 15rd mags. Price was quoted as $449.00, still a great deal. I got two more Argentinian blue 15rd mags to go along and then the salesman threw in a FREE tactical knife for placing my oder with them.

I will give you all a range report when I can. Free knife will be reported also as I will hope its not crap ... but may be.

can anyone tell me if they fit larger hands better than the CZ-75? The beavertail looks to be a bit smaller. Thats a plus for me.
I love the way that a BHP fits my hand where with the CZ line the beavertail/tang bends down just enough to wack my hand. Witnesses are better but the tang still hits the web of my hand where on a BHP I have no problem

I'm torn between the matte and the blued finish. I'm going to have some work done on the HP so maybe matte is the way to go. But then again, blued is so pretty! ;)
