Hey guys,

Heads up! CDNN is selling NIB Beretta 92s (full-size and centurion models) for $299! That's a terrific deal if you're interested in a 92. I would order one if I didn't own several of them already. A couple other highlights: Grade A H&K P7 PSPs for $649.99. Very good to excellent S&W 5906 stainless for $319.99, and CZ82 in excellent to like new shape for $189.99.

I wish they'd get in some used pre-lock S&W revolvers.

I would eat my hat if it was really an NIB Beretta for $300. Maybe it's a police trade-in or an American Tactical clone you are talking about?

What caught my eye in their new ad was a S&W M&P-15 carbine for $600 - now that's an interesting deal...

PS - Stephen, check J&G for S&W revo's. They usually have quite a selection. I have not checked lately, but usually they do at most all times.

You guys are right, I didn't look closely enough and they are American Tactical, not Beretta. Except for Taurus, I didn't realize that there were other clones of the 92. I've never heard of American Tactical. Who are these guys and where are these guns made?

American Tactical is an importer. They sell a few different clone guns and a bunch of other things like AR lowers, etc. If you've ever heard of the GSG-5 which was popular for a bit, that was them selling it (at least up until this year). I bought one of their stripped lowers last year as a Christmas gift for a relative of mine. Since they don't actually make anything, the quality of the item depends on who actually made it for them. The lower I got was in spec and the fit and finish was acceptable. It had a different type of finish on it but I didn't think it looked bad (especially since I got it for under $100 when everyone else was selling lowers for $125+ at that time).

I'm betting the Beretta clone is probably Turkish. If so, it's probably not a bad deal for $300. The fit and finish won't match the real deal.....but it's $300 so heck....you can't have it all.

I must say I'm not too suprised that a $300 Turkish made clone isn't quite as good of guality as a genuine Beretta. ;)

Well what do you think the guys on the Beretta forum are going to say? This $300 is an equal?
Of course not.
I have a C92 and a buddy has an early 2000 92FS and the fit finish and quality are identical. And if you want new, the ATI has all metal parts where as the Beretta's have started using plastic triggers and guide rods.

The only thing I don't like about it is all of the stamping on the frame and slide. Though from what I see of the new Beretta's they have a bunch too.
For $300+ FFL and shipping this, I think is the best buy in the firearms world right now.

Bit of a zombie thread, but I'll chime in anyway. I have an AT92 from CDNN and can't find any real differences in quality, fit or finish when compared to Beretta. The AT92 (Yavuz 16) is an identical clone of the early 1990's Beretta 92 and is well made. The only real drawback I see is that it doesn't seem to have the enlarged hammer pin that keeps the sliding from smacking you in the forehead if the locking block breaks. Minor drawback, but those are not a common issue unless you're shooting the 50,000 psi ammo (far overpressure, beyond +P or NATO levels) accidentally procured by the US military in the mid-1980's.
