this is about the best ongoing thread to mention this: did anyone watch 'American Dad' last night? see his exoskeleton weapon attack senator feinstein?

whoever is writing for that show must be on our side. :D

Stan: Oh its not like she died or anything. She should thank us. Now she can park anywhere she wants.

Well, from the vibes I get from his Family Guy commentaries, it seems pretty unlikely that Seth McFarlane is pro RKBA. But, he can sing!

.

Another funny one was when stan said to a pistol on a table "Go ahead gun, kill somebody", demonstrating that guns are inanimate objects.

The fact is however, that American Dad shows obnoxious Republican steriotypes, and just because it does that, it doesn't mean that anybody will therefor agree with republican ideas.

Dude, there is no such thing as a Goddess. Keep that up and you'll end up taking ride "Down South" when God calls for you.

If I went to your church, that might make me nervous. It doesn't, but thanks. :neener:

But I guess as long he doesn't call collect...

I actually own both too for some reason. Actually, I mispoke. I was refering to RE 2. If you watch the documentary, she very clearly has no idea about guns. I remember specifically that she referred to Les Baer 1911's as "9mm's",

Well, a minor point, the models they gave her could have been 9mm's (prop-guns/blanks) but I doubt it.

and then went on to call mp5k's "uzi's". There was more, but I can't remember the details. Any time somebody calls any and all small SMG's "uzi's", I consider that a clear indication of ignorance. Think about it, most people reading these words know far more about guns than she does. The fact that she is hot and shoots guns on screen does not make her a "goddess" in my opinion.

I'll have to watch that, is that from the commentary or a different interview on the disc?

I just watched it. Guess what, Milla never called the 1911A1 a 9mm. I can understand about the MP5-Ks as she lives in California.

I don't go to Church, but I do read the Bible. There's only one God and thats it. Worshipping "other gods" or goddesses is a big no-no. The Bible doesn't you can't kiss someone's @$$ though.

Good to know then.

Let me put it in more obvious words for ya:

I'm not a Christian, therefore what you think your god may or may not do is of little importance to me. Not everyone goes to the same church (i.e. not everyone believes the same). But thanks for the tip, let's get back on track and avoid the religious discussion if that's okay with everyone.

Haha, so she did call the MP5K's "Uzi's", that's kind of funny, though no worse than some of the gun mistakes I see folks who are otherwise pretty knowledgeable make on this site.

thats one persons interpretation of scripture, and a discussion for another day.

would you be equally miffed if i called JMB a 'god'?

Me? Nope. He is a "god". The problem is most likely my capitalization of "goddess", sometimes religious folks get a little upset because the capitalization denotes a particular supreme being (i.e. the difference between "Mark Messier is a hockey god" and say, "David Koresh is God")

It was not meant to offend, I just think she's smokin hot! I am sure Wiccans would find my statement equally offensive, but "goddess" has been an acceptable term for a beautiful female for a long time, sorry I took some liberty with it.

My apologies for the issue.

Thats from the special feature called "Big Guns" I believe, not the regular movie, willbray. In the regular movie they don't talk about gun makes and models. MOST of the nerds that watch that movie are more interested in Milla's hotness, and the movies videogame relivance rather than gun types.

Not that it has anything to do with the threads original topic, but would it be appropriate to call John Browning a "Profit"?
