Bulgarian (Single Stack) AK-47 7.62x39 #AKAGUN SSR 85C-01

Thinking about an AK platform and I do like the looks of the Dragunov but I don't know nothing about them...:scrutiny:

The CAI Bulgy 74 is a "parts gun" built for CAI using some original parts and some US like the barrel. Barrel is not chrome lined with can be an issue if you plan on shooting corrosive surplus ammo. A CAI WASR-2 that was carefully looked over would be a better option.

The "Dragunov" is not a Dragunov it is a Romanian PSL. It shoots the larger Russian round. Only Rommy 10rg mags can be used and you are limited to "light ball" type ammo. Lots of "heavy ball" or heavy hunting SP's will beat the gun to death.

Living a in free state like TX the Bulgy single stack isn't worth the time and effort to convert it to accept hi-cap mags.

Try checking out Henderson Defense Industries. They sell "certified" CAI WASR's in various calibers after checking them over and correcting most a CAI poor QC issues. Thay aren't much more expensive and add piece of mind to purchasing a CAI product sight unseen.

Atlantic Firearms http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storecategory90.aspx is also a great place to purchase firearms and has a good selection. They may be a little hard to get on the phone at times (they are busy) but the CS is very good.

The Bulgarian single-stack is a parts gun, too.

They build'em in Bulgaria out of parts from old Bulgarian Army AKs and export them over here.

When they were first imported, quality was very nice, but in recent years, it's slipped quite a bit.

AK 47 Bullpup Semi-Auto Rifle, Cal. 7.26x39mm Looks interesting! Wonder if you can get a Strikefire or other red dot on it?

Anyone used one?

I've heard some negative things about the Bullpup design, due to moving the trigger mechanism and using cables to make it work. Looks pretty cool but I have no experience with them. Just thought I'd add that info about them. Saw a U Tube video and it didn't cycle the mag totally before jamming. May want to look for the video.

I think I want a Draco AK pistol. At Classic Arms they have them in Chrome in addition to the conventional build. You'd get some good laughs showing off the Chrome version. You'd need to be driving a Pimp Mobile also!!!!
