Century Arms SPM12 double

Are these Chinese-made double shotguns any good? I've always wanted a double gun with exposed hammers, and this is pretty cheap. I'm not too demanding in terms of quality. If it shoots every time I want it to that's all I want.

Anyone have experience with these?

My co-workers father has/had one of these. It was not working right, NONE of the local gunsmiths would touch it. Last I knew he was trying to bring it back to the plant here in VT. That was almost a year ago. I have no idea of the status.

I have one in 410 no problems yet. Good rabbit gun for my kids when they get older.

The Century model is probably the lowest quality of the import sxs guns. Check out the TTN model sold under the EMF and Cimarron brand names. It retails for around $400 and is very popular with the cowboy action shooters.

It seems that Century Arms coach guns are for COWBOY ACTION SHOOTING. Those guys shoot thier sxs more in a year then most people shoot in ten.

My TTN has handled everything I have fed it with NO problems or apparent wear.

Awesome. Twice the price of the Century but seems worth it.
