chamber cast ?

i have not done a chamber cast, yet. but i am curious about it. how much different will it be than a fire formed case? and what would i really learn from it? i do reload, not that that has anything to do with chamber casting. would a chamber cast give me information that can be put to good use reloading?

Not unless you have some weird wildcat or old gun in an unknown chambering you can't identify.

Cerrosafe shrinks during the first 30 minutes of cooling and then at the end of an hour, is EXACTLY chamber size. At the end of 200 hours it will have expanded approximately .0025".
