I ordered a Champion Duraseal spinning target from here, for about $14 (free shipping if the order is above $30):

I ordered it mainly because I wanted a re-usable reactive target with less chance of bullet bounceback. It's made of some sort of polymer material that allows the bullet to pass through the target.
I got to try it out this weekend, and it really worked great! The package suggests a min distance of 25 yards- we shot at about 15 to 25 yards, using .22 LR from handguns, using both round nose and HP .22 federal and CCI ammo.
When hit, the target either wobbles or spins nicely, making it easy to see when you the target. Our target sustained several dozen hits, and it really does "seal up" the holes with a .22 quite well. The instructions recommend not using FMJ ammo- it appeared that the HP ammo made a slightly bigger impact mark that the round nose ammo, but with .22 the difference was not significant. The holes in the front were marked with dark smuges and were well sealed up. The holes in the back appeared pretty much as pin pricks.
So far, I like this much better than shooting cans etc (and it is miles better than paper) because it reacts well with every hit, and stays in one place. The orange color is very visible for aiming as well.
I don't know how well it would hold up to bigger calibers, so I'm not going to try. I suspect, at least, an impact of a bigger bullet on the metal portion of the frame would be "inadvisable".
I see only one negative with this target- a small crack appeared in the polymer, just above the metal weight- possibly because of a bullet strike on the weight, I don't know. If this eventually causes the weight to shear off, I will be upset, but it is small as of now.
I saw my local Walmart is now stocking a winchester-branded duraseal target that looks like this (though they only want about $14 for it):

I don't know how well it the above "double gong target" spins without the weight, but that at least would be a way to avoid bullet strikes on the metal weight.
