Changed the spring, now its DAO

I changed the mainspring in my Ruger GP 100 and now its gone to double action only. At first, the hammer would cock back most times, but sometimes it would miss. Now it won't cock back at all. Is it because of the spring, or did I do something else to screw it up?

Maybe you reversed the spring assembly? IIRC, it has to be oriented the proper way for everything to work.

I reversed the hammer strut seat. A little mistake caused a big problem. Thanks for the help.
