Changing reticles?

It probably will depend on what reticle and what scope you are working with. Email them.

I did the other day for a turret change and they got back to me within a day with everything I needed to know.

In 2014 they wanted $75.00 to put a German #4 in a VX-3 1.75-6x32. The scope was brand new and the windage adjustment wasn't tracking do I asked about reticle swap after they received it. I was quoted the price, agreed to it, and Leupold made the swap. They wound up not charging me a penny. The reason they gave was they had to disassemble the scope to fix the windage adjustment on a new scope so changing the reticle was no biggie. Another reason I'm a fan of Leupold.

I called Leupold and discussed what it would take to upgrade my fine cross hair reticle (which I have trouble seeing with my 70 year old eyes) to a duplex or heavy duplex reticle....$60 plus shipping. Seems like a bargain to me.

I really like my Leupold heavy duplex reticle. Wasn't sure when I first got it,now I can't think of a better reticle for my 65 year old eyes. Works especially well in the woods/brush and low light (nearly dark) conditions. I can always see the cross hairs

Heavy duplex was in the VX-3 I had changed to a German #4. German 4 is too heavy for many people but it is my favorite reticle.

Just sent a VX-3i, changing plex for Mil-Dot, it's $160 now plus shipping both ways. They said the TMR reticle is the same cost. Some reticles cost more than others, apparently, which doesn't make any sense at all to me for a simple Mil-dot.

The advice from the rep with whom I spoke: Look on the custom shop page at the same model you're looking to have re-done, there are various prices for the different reticles available for each model, but those prices are increased slightly for a re-do vs. a custom shop job (which should be expected). Comparatively, putting a mil-dot in a custom shop Vx3i is $125, but sending mine back in, same scope, is $160... So $35 more than the listed price. Some of the reticle options on the site don't include an upgrade cost, so I'd venture that $60 @Sniper66 mentioned above is the minimum cost.
