Just got off the phone with Leupold. I am looking to change the reticle in my 2005 model VXIII 2.5-8X36 from the standard duplex to something with hold over points.
The three options I have are a Boone and Crockett ($110 bucks), a Mil-Dot ($160), or a custom reticle based on my ballistics for $70. Anyone had experience with either the Boone and Crockett or the "custom" reticle? Which would be better for hunting big game and target shooting out to 400 yards?
