I have owned two, currently own one.
The first was sold because it fed nothing but FMJ. Granted, it did that with regularity and the 1911 was designed to shoot FMJ, but I wanted something that wouldn't choke on a good hollowpoint.
The second is about 10-12 years old, has got a really stupid number of tens of thousands of rounds through it. Not only does it feed JHP reliably, it will feed empty cases from the magazine. A little frustrating for instructors who are trying to induce a malfunction requiring more than a simple "tap/rack/assess" drill.
Both were decently made, both were accurate out to 25 yards (I seldom shoot a 1911 past that anymore) and both were clones. that is, they were not made with some proprietary variation.
They are not a top level manufacturer. But I was satisfied in general with the first and thrilled with the second I bought.
