I have the field hunter 12 gauge. I bought it and took it out for skeet the first time. It would fire about 1 in 3 rounds.:cuss: I sent it back b/c the pin was not hitting the primer cap hard enough. They said they "fixed it" and they test fired it. I got it back and it was EXACTLY THE SAME as before, misfiring randomly. I tried the same misfired shells in my father in laws Ithica and it was not bad ammo. I sent it back to them again and they fixed it again. This time it seems to work, and puts a deeper dimple in the cap than before, but I have only put 100 rds through it since. Their customer service is good, but I am not overly confident in the gun. I should have gotten an 870, and would advise the same to anyone else. Also they don't offer slug barrells. I emailed their sales department and he replied telling me they were coming out in late summer. It is mid october and I haven't seen a slug barrell yet. I am overall dissatisfied but thats what you get when you try to save a couple bucks... next one will be an 870... lesson learned. :banghead:
