Didn't see any reviews on this model. This is Charter Arm's semi-concealed hammer model with a 3-finger rubber grip, 2" barrel, and weight of 12 oz. I was concerned about possible regrets after getting it, but some decent review on Charter products and their lifetime warranty convinced me to go ahead with the purchase. The action worked reasonably well right out of the box. Fit and finish seemed functional but not outstanding. Trigger-pull felt good in single action and ok in double action. The end of trigger blade was sharp but I simply shifted finger to avoid this spot. The 3-finger grip was perfect for my hand size and allowed me excellent control of the hammer and trigger. 2-finger grips are too small for me. The sight picture was surprising easy to acquire and worked well. Recoil was there but manageable with this grip. Accuracy was better with .38 spl than with .38 +P, but both were acceptable. (only shot 10 rounds). Tried the pistol in the pocket in both jeans and warm-ups and experienced no snags. I had thought the semi-concealed hammer would catch on something but it didn't. Altogether this revolver was better than I had expected and is worth considering. Perhaps Charter should add a 3" barrel version to their line-up.

I've attached a picture of the On-Duty. The difference between it and the S&W 638 is the 3-finger grip vs 2-finger and a more accessible hammer. The On-Duty hammer is easy to use to put into SA mode. Had a S&W 638 but the action seemed stiff and the grip was too small for me and I traded it off for something else. The S&W 649 has been the smallest revolver I felt comfortable using til now.

Thanks for the review! Got any photos you can share?

I think this is pretty much the same revolver, just with a pink finish and it's a DAO. My wife saw it today, it matched her nail polish, so she wanted it (Good a reason as any to buy a gun).

We haven't shot it yet of course, but the other Charters we've owned have been good.
