I just received a notice in the mail that Charter Cable TV is dropping The Outdoor Channel, so they can add several new channels in their digital service.

I just spoke with a charter customer service rep, and they said I was not the first to complain about that channel being dropped.

If you are a charter customer, and enjoy the shooting and hunting programs that are only available on The Outdoor Channel, contact Charter Communications as soon as possible at 866-954-3034.

If they get enough complaints, they may decide to leave that channel for our enjoyment.

Welcome to my world!

I switched from Dish to Comcast and lost Outdoor Channel.
Life is not the same without Uncle Ted. :(

I suffer with the Sportsmans Channel. Absolute garbage. I watched some hunting show for a 1/2 hour and they went home empty handed. Yes, that's reality, but it certainly wasn't entertaining. Zero stuff on 2A, SD/HD, etc.

jefnvk: FYI...the FCC prohibits landlords from forbidding satellite installations under certain circumstances. Check out http://www.fcc.gov/mb/facts/otard.html for the info.

Of course just because you can doesn't always mean you should. It would no doubt upset the landlord if you open that can of worms!
