Does anyone know where I might find a buttstock for a Daly/Miroku 12 ga O/U? A buttstock ass'y would be nice, but what I can't locate is the wood. I've tried the places on the net that I am familiar with and got nada. Failing that, any ideas of who might have the wherewithall to duplicate one? Any help most gratefully appreciated.

Howdy east texas from a 60 year old gun nut in sealy !!!!

Contact "briley manufacturing" in houston, as they are world renown specialists in scatterguns of all flavors. Also give bell & carlson stocks a shout for possibly something in a rugged synthetic buttstock & forfearm.

Signed: 3 gen exxon brat born & raised in baytown, texas---class of 1951---post war baby boomer for sure.

Thanks Guru. I will give them a try. I didn't know they were so hard to find. The original stock was removed for unknown reasons and was lost in a house fire. Thanks again.

Happy to provide any assistance i can to the gunowners of america, especially native-born texans. My family migrated to texas from tennessee in 1824. They settled in lamar & delta counties.

Shotgun stock

Forgive me for the brain-fart !!!!! Miroku corporation makes the browning "citori" o/u shotguns in japan. Maybe a browning stock would fit your charles daly ???? Just a guess, but who knows maybe it will fit. Good luck with your search.

Call MGW and see if they can help. They stock oodles of Browning parts, and should be able to tell you if your Miroku can be serviced with Browning bits...

You should remember, however, that O/U shotgun stocks generally need to be fitted and MGW will likely suggest only having a gunsmith attempt the restoration.

Thanks bernie

Thanks for the back-up on this fellows question. The 1911 pistol, colt / smith da revolvers & bolt action rifles are my strong areas, plus almost 40 years reloading bench time. I live near sealy, texas.

Thanks Guys. I will give the Browning angle a follow-up I'm about ready to rough-cut one out of a 2X4 and tie it on with baling wire ;)
