I actually have a 600 jr and have thought of that, seeing that I roll crimp all of my steel shot loads anyway, but the only thing I would gain is the fold crimp, which takes away some of the shot.
It's hard to beat a prescision reloading roll crimper for roll crimping. The crimps have a perfect roll to them, unlike the BP roll crimpers.
A guy would think that roll crimping would be slow as mollasis in the winter, but once a guy gets into a groove with it, it's surprisingly fast.
