It seems that everywhere I've looked so far, nobody's pricing really beats wal-mart's pricing on its remington UMC 250 round box for ~$48+tax ($52?)

Does anyone know of a place to buy 9mm ammo that the sig will like and can beat wal-mart's price?

A SIG should chew up and spit out any halfway decent ammo and come back asking for more. ;)

The only ammo that consistently and substantially beats Wal-Mart UMC in price is Wal-Mart Blazer Brass, at least out here.

Hate to beat the reloading drum yet again, but that's really the way to go for cheaper ammo. A Lee Classic Turret set-up from Kempfs is around $200.

You could always buy a case of wolf ammo from sportsmansguide for ~$160+ shipping http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=365151 . But $52/250 is not a bad price for brass case 9mm.

If it were me I would buy a case (1000 rounds) of that ammo for $208 and enjoy shooting it...but police up all my spent brass. When I had 1000 spent cases, load them into a USPS flat rate box for $9.99. Ship them to www.mastercast.net for reloading. If you used their CNL ammo (thats what I use in my P6 and P226) your next case would cost you $145 OTD!

I bought 1000 rounds of WOLF 9mm ammo from SPortsmans guide for my 226 and its been fine. no problems. $151 per 1000 rounds. not a bad price. I went thru that, and I just got my 2nd 1000 rounds from them last week. good stuff for the money.
