Last night in Wal Mart (ugh!) I found Remington 115 grain 9mm JHP ammo in a 100 round box for about $11.95. May be $11.50; I think I threw out the receipt last night.

Does anyone know if this is their standard velocity load of that type or some "cheap jack" promotional load made for Wal Mart? It isn't marked Plus P. I'm hoping it will feed and shoot well, expand the bullet and not burn dirty. I hope for around 1150 FPS in my CZ-75b.

Anyone know anything about this stuff? Ever chronographed any?

Thanks,

Lone Star

Walmart also has this new Remington 100 rd JHP's in 40 and 45. I've bought the 9,40 and 45 but have only shot the 40 so far, seems great.

I usually use the Wal-Mart/Winchester or Blazer, but did get a box of the Remington value pack 9mm to try. I thought they were fine...seemed cleaner and fed reliably in my Glocks.......hard to say if they are "worth" the extra $, but if you prefer them to be packed rather than just all loose, well....

Hmmm.....I'll check Rem's website and see if they list it there.

May try some myself regardless.

It is the Remington UMC.made in AK. Bought four boxes, but havn't had a chance to shoot any yet.

One thing I noticed about the rem bulkpack ammo is that it has a lot more muzzle blast than win white box or my reloads. Tried to chrono some yesterday but my chrono was acting up telling me I was getting 1375 fps with a 115 JHP. I don't think so! Will replace battery and try again in a few days.
