Seeking gun shop etc possibilities which are totally unknown to me. Pardon the apparently wrong forum here: much more exposure to "local intell".
We will be driving back from San Antonio either July 11, 12 or 13. Can also trade a can of unopened x54R: 300 rounds for 300 rds. of very good .303.

As we did twice before, up I-35 via Austin, Dallas, I-30 Texar., Little Rock, I-40 back to Memphis.
If anybody knows of a store or person (whose ammo description can be trusted) within about 10 minutes of any exit along that route, who wants to sell at a cheap price reliable .303 ammo, please send me an e-mail.

A few weeks ago we visited the Ammo Depot at Caddo Mills, n.e. of Dallas and they had a really nice milsurp rifle etc selection, but as usual with most gun shops, not the scarcer varieties of ammo. I already have a good bit of both '43 British-made and POF, but would like a second LE sometime in the near future.
Traded two other calibers in a Texas town on same return route two weeks ago. Really nice guy and went very smoothly.
To clarify, please send an e-mail and will respond with my cell phone #.

Surplus 303 is a thing of the past long gone from this world. The only exception is pakastani surplus which is utter complete garbage, unless of course you like FTF's and hangfires
