Cheapest pistol ever?

Well, it's not a handgun, but the cheapest gun I've ever owned is one of these, a gift from my brother. So cheap there isn't even a name on it, never could hit squat with it. I still have it, but it's been broke for years. My brother also has one, and he bought a single shot .410 shotgun just like the .22's. Man, you talk about something that has a painful kick to it! That thing is a beast.

I think that's the "Bronco", my dad has one of those in .22lr! Interesting

i had a raven 25 that was given to me - was aweful, then i had a jennings 22 that i bought for $20, alittle better, traded both for a grendel 380 -unreliable,still have the grendel even though it stays in the cabinet. i have better guns for every day carry. the moral of this story is you get what you pay for!

I bought a Pieper New-Model Vest-Pocket .25 in nickle (Made in Herstal, Belgium right after WWII) for $10 because that's how much cash I had in my pocket when the guy offered it to me. He said it did everything but actually fire a cartridge. Turned out to have a broken firing pin. A little lathe time and some hardened drill-rod and silver solder and now it has a firing pin. I actually got it to fire a cartridge for the first time since I bought it recently.

I also just noticed, this is my 3000th post on THR. Cool.

For working guns, I picked up a Savage Springfield 120 single-shot .22 rifle for $40 with ammo. The rear sight was missing completely. I cleaned it up and stuck a cheapie BSA 3-9x32 scope and rings I had sitting around on it and it's a great rifle.

Cheapest pistol I've purchased was a Browning for $139.00. The cheapest pistol I've been offered was a Jennings for $60 by my FFL, I passed.
