MCgunners post shows the Rossi 351 model like mine and its plus P rated. Blueing on mine was done very well and its a fun shooter.

If your willing to spend more on the revolver the LCR in 22lr would sure save on ammo.

The Heritage i own works and is accurate but the finish is very cheap on all of their non steel versions. For a beater/trail tool its fine but it sure isn't a BBQ gun.

The Australian police trade-ins at Buds are a great value.
As stated, the finish is worn, but the guns are tight and functionally perfect.
I liked the first one so much that I grabbed a second one when they again became available.
As these were traded in directly to S&W, there's no import stamping, either:

Those Model 10 Smiths from Bud's are the ticket. Mine had holster wear in the usual places and shoots excellent. I would trust my life to this gun no problem and it was just under $300 after picking it up from my FFL.

Hard to beat.

I saw a guy buy a brand new 4 inch Firestorm (Armscor) .38 Special +P revolver for $194.00 at the gun show on Saturday. It looked like a Colt Police Positive Special with a parkerized finish and a heavy barrel.

Not a recommendation, just a report.
