Improving Grip on a Nagant Revolver

Something that I found in a Russian military manual for the Nagant revolver might interest you. You can "lighten" the double-action trigger pull by putting a 7.62mm bullet between the mainspring and the front grip frame. You may have to cut the bullet down for length depending on how you put it in position (parallel or perpendicular to the frame). I did it, and now I don't need two men and a boy to help me shoot my Nagant.

If I had a Nagant I'd have Roy Fishpaw fit it with a custom set of unicorn ivory stocks, carved with Lenin's portrait. Then I'd have it professionally engraved and fitted with platinum wire inlay hammer & sickle.

Are you making a joke about spending money and time on old, relatively pathetic guns, or was your late grandmother just that rich? :neener:
