Surprise!
A few years back I was installing a used transmitter at a new radio station in Bullhead City, AZ.
I noticed a couple screws in a front panel that weren't stock, so I pulled that panel.
Lo & behold, fastened in there was a holster with a loaded nickle Chiefs' Special, and a plastic belt deal with 6 more rounds in it.
It didn't need that in there, but I needed it!

Guns, bags(pockets), security checks ....
Id add here to be leery of any bags or items.
If you plan to travel or go anywhere with security screenings/checks: airports, courts, prisons, medical centers, etc.
My local intl airport had a record # of firearm related security incidents/guns in bags/suit cases last year,

I recently had a minor incident too. I was checking a small nylon NRA bag I use for ranges/training when I found a fired 9x19mm brass case in a compartment.
If I took that bag thru a security check-point or TSA screening they might wig out.
It's been posted in the past, but it's worth repeating: don't be in a rush & check all the pockets/sections of any luggage or cases/bags.
Id add the old tidbit: treat all guns like they are loaded is true too.
The recent video of the small town police Sgt who shot his hand while looking at a pawn shop pistol is a good example.

Years ago there was on this forum an older member "GENTLEMAN OF THE CHARCOAL" who once posted he had found an original Colt 1849 in an old wood stove he had bought. He was very knowledgeable on black powder firearms and had a long posting history. so I would doubt he made the story up.

Many moons ago.
On a hunting trip to Colorado my closest friend's father had a heart attack and died. When his truck was sold several months later there was a Browning Hi -power under the driver's seat. It wasn't missed for months. Someone got a really nice bonus with truck.
