Check my new Kalashnikov AK-103

It’s been more than 15 years since I first pulled the trigger on the classic AK47, (Wasr-10) in 7.62x39 with a side mounted Red Dot. In a world with constant hardware upgrades and developments, I’m grateful to have this new setup that still teaches me so much on fundamentals and simplicity. Once again going back to my roots. Thank you. Today i picked a US manufactured AK-103 by Kalashnikov USA. I have to say it’s the best AK-103 i have seen. They claim to have the Data-package to build them to true ak-103 specs (semiauto only) and it shows in the quality and fit and finish.

The AK47, AKM, AK74 and AK-10X all look similar, but there are differences between them.

True. Many differences across the spectrum. I own a Maadi, AMD-65, Mak 90, and in August the nib ZPAP arrived. The AMD looks unique, when the entire gun is in a photo.

Very good results - after 5,000 rds., while limiting barrel temps, periodically checking headspace while Again checking it at the end of his test.

For the unfamiliar, Rob also examines bolt lugs and trunnions along the way.

That AK103 sure looks good. I wish Kalashnikov USA made AK101. At least then we'd have proper 5.56 magazines aside from Galil.

Any rifle with a mismatched pistol grip (etc) has the look of being in a combat zone.

That could be called ‘'heavy', if you know the older slang.
