Hello everyone:

Does anyone know how many turns are required to wind the spring in a Chinese 100 round AK drum magazine? I know the 75 round drum takes 7 turns but I can't find any info regarding the 100 round drum.

Uhh, by the way, where did you get a Chinese 100 round drum??

How much did it set you back?

I really want a Chinese drum but it makes me sick the price is so artificially high. :barf:

The chinese drums are currently being sneaked into he USA by some eastern european countries. They go unnoticed by customs because they're not being imported from China. The prices are the same as the Soviet or ComBloc type.

It's called 'supply and demand' and it's a fact of life.

Oh of course, but you have to examine why the supply is so low- a ban on Norinco imports. Is this ban logical? I think that is what makes me sick about it. We import billions from China in food/clothing, etc, but can't import Norinco products... so its not about crippling the Chinese economy.

Yeah I saw the Romanian drums are more widely available and usually under $100 but they stick out in a funny way, I would prefer the Chinese drum which is straight down.

I'm glad someone came up with the answer. When I saw this post last night, I didn't have the energy to dig mine out and assist you.

To make you even sicker buck, I got my chinese 100rd drum from CDNN in 1994 for $30. Only used it 3 times and it worked fine. I've always wanted a 75rd Russian drum but they were about $75 back then and I couldn't afford it.
