chinese type 56 sks questions

I get the value on run of the mill sks's but what about say a 1967 type 56 arsenal 26 NON IMPORT marked rifle worth? No bring back papers but in fantastic condition. like still full of cosmoline and no rust. $400?, $500?

The old saying "it is worth what someone is willing to pay" comes to mind. Both of mine were like new and I paid $300 each; which was high I thought. I do believe that maybe one was used as a parade rifle ( white gloves and all ) it is so nice? I would not sell either one of mine but they were what I was looking for.....great no problem shooters.

I payed $275 a couple years ago, but it has import marks. I am not sure how much no marks add to value.

Most people aren't buying SKS to be collectables but shooters.

And to a shooter not haveing import stamps doesn't mean anything.

I'd guess $350 or so. Arsenal 26 is one of the most common types and the collectors seem to want Russian SKS's these days.
