Choke tube recommendations?

I have just bought a SBEII and it has come with some choke tubes but not all of them can take steel shot, so i'm looking for some recommendations for some choke tube companies / brands and size for duck, goose, and dove hunting,

What do you have now and how do they pattern with the ammunition you intend to shoot?

Pretty sure your tubes are fine.

Most all Imp Cyl and Mod tubes can be used with steel shot.

Very few Full tubes can be used with steel shot.

And you wouldn't want to anyway.

Steel patterns at least one choke tighter then lead, and a full choke would be too much.

The sbe1 that I formerly owned came with five chokes. The imp/mod and the full were the only ones that were not recomended for use with steel. The mod worked well for ducks at all reasonable ranges (25-50 yds) with 2.75 and 3 inch BB, 2's & 3's. The larger steel such as BBB and T-shot patterned better for me with the I/C choke. These were of the 3.5 inch variety. I no longer own or shoot a benelli but their factory chokes patterned fine for me YMMV.

If you really are looking for some good steel shot compatible chokes for waterfowl then Carleson's has always been my choke of choice. You can call them and they have excellent CS.
