Choke Tubes

I bought a used Mossberg 500 and it came with a modified choke tube installed. I don't know much about choke tubes. Can someone give me the rundown? Thanks.

I won't give you a rundown, but these guys might:

Trulock

They get paid the big bucks to do chokes, so they might know a thing or two.

BTW, that is one of the best places I've found with choke tube information.

Gunsmith showed me the empty package on a rifled choke tube a week or three back. It appeared to be around 4" or longer. Made, I think, by Hastings.
