Choke ??

The O/U shotgun I got has some extra chokes with it. In the top barrel is
I Mod and Mod in bottom. There are also 2 Full chokes and a LMod.
1 longer SK choke and a IC choke. If hunting birds, what chokes are best used and for sporting clays or trap what choke(s) and in what barrel top or bottom. Just learning the game.

You will need to pattern each load at the distance you are planning to shoot to find the best choice for you. Generally, for trap you will want to use a mod or tighter. For most upland hunting I use an i/c or skeet tube in the bottom and mod on top, I use that same setup for 90% of sporting clays also.

Depends on your sporting clays course- I start with IC and LM and go accordingly - if the targets are clse and easy, I'll replace the LM with another IC; if they are testy and distant, I'll swap the IC of a M or tighter

LM will crush 90% of most sporting targets
