When Christensen Arms announced their new ultra light rimfire rifle. I immediately thought a serious critter getter something this light that you can pack all day in the field. Christensen Arms has been in business for over 25 years and are well known for their quality and light hunting rifles. Using carbon fiber and their brilliant knowledge of shaving weight for sure this was nothing but a hunter. Then low and behold on their release it was branded as lightweight, precise and accurate rimfire capable of meeting the need of the competitive shooter, hunter or general purpose shooter.

Ok well Christensen you have sucked me in and I have got to have one. And I did get one with a very low serial number.

As seen in the video I had a few strange ejection problems, something I am working with the friendly folks at Christensen to resolve. Stay Tuned.

1.4moa as best (of two) - did you shoot any other ammo through it yet? Kinda disappointing results, especially considering their sub-MOA guarantee at 50 yards (not 1/2 moa as stated at ~1:15). And especially considering the extraction/ejection issues you’re having. It’s not a super expensive rifle, but dang, I would like to expect more from Christensen.

This is the first ammo I have put through it and minimal rounds only 60 at this point. Other ammo test to come.

I had a rifle that wouldn’t shoot anything well. A Russian .22. My dad gave me some cheapo Federal Standard velocity from the 80’s. It loves the stuff. You just never know. The Christensen might find something it likes or tightens up with breakin or it won’t. I hope it does.

Thanks for the video! I'm very interested in how this one works out for you, as I'm probably going to buy a Ranger in the near(ish) future.
